Problem Of Karachi Essay

I want to draw attention of the city administrator and other related authorities about the problem caused by everyday traffic jams in Karachi. The roads in Karachi everywhere have become narrow as compared to the number of vehicles running on them. The work in progress at various places is also a cause of traffic jams. The traffic usually remains jam every day.
In the morning, there are long lines of vehicles which move slowly from Numaish to Tower, everyone looks in hurry and wants to go fast, especially the motorcyclists, rickshaws and bus drivers break traffic rules and create problems for others. Every one moves with his own will, due to this traffic mess, the students, office going people and others usually cannot reach in time.
There is no way an ambulance can go through in which a serious patient is being taken to the hospital. In the evening, there is the worst traffic jams on the roads in Karachi. People reach back to their homes from their working places after spending several hours in the traffic jams on this road.
I request the higher authorities and the department of traffic police for taking severe steps, so that everyone can travel with comfort and the problem of traffic jams can be handled properly.

The city government and other authorities must take action to curb everyday traffic jams in Karachi

KARACHI: Through your esteemed newspaper, I want to draw attention of the city government and other related authorities to the problems caused by everyday traffic jams in Karachi. The roads have become too narrow to accommodate the number of vehicles running on them. The never-ending construction work in progress at various places is also a cause of traffic jams. In the mornings, there are long queues of vehicles moving super sluggishly from Numaish to Tower. Everyone wants to speed but of course, they can’t. On the other hand, when traffic is moving smoothly, VIP vehicles, motorcyclists, rickshaws and bus drivers break traffic rules and create complications for others. It is deplorable that there is no way even an ambulance can pass through — that makes me think: what if a seriously ill patient is being taken to the hospital? Will he or she have to wait till the traffic clears?

In the evenings, the traffic jams on the roads in Karachi only get worse. I kindly request the higher authorities and the department of traffic police to take some action in this regard so that everyone can travel with comfort and ease.
